When talking about allergies, it's always important to distinguish between allergies to the contents of a product or one of its components, and allergies related to the external and domestic environment. Except for very rare, specific allergies to goose and duck feathers, there are no other reasons not to use feather products. What is essential, therefore, is the purification process of the raw material that guarantees its healthiness.
The down and feathers used by Piumini Danesi® pooq dene® are treated at the source with natural washing and dust removal processes and sterilized at a temperature of 120°C.
The covering fabric is made of 100% pure cotton in Cambric or Batista weave, with such a tight weave that it prevents the escape of down feathers and does not allow dust mites to enter.
The entire production process, from purification to packaging, is carried out directly on-site at our factory in Denmark, in full compliance with strict European regulations.
All of this allows us to obtain the Oeko-Tex® certification from German authorities every year.
Our duvets are always used with a duvet cover, providing additional protection and easy washability.
Our feather products have obtained the European NOMITE certification, confirming that they are suitable for individuals suffering from household dust allergies.
Oeko-Tex Standard 100 indicates that the manufacturer is certified as environmentally eco-friendly both in processes and facilities and has been tested for the absence of harmful substances.
The NOMITE® label indicates that it is a product suitable for people suffering from allergies.
