The Lightweight D'OC Duvet
The D'Oc Light is the lightest of our winter duvets. Natural luxury and absolute comfort. The filling of hand-selected white goose neck down clusters and the cover made of pure Swiss batiste cotton—down-proof and dust mite-resistant—make it a refined and eco-friendly choice.
The D'Oc Light duvet, like its Winter counterpart, is crafted to achieve excellence.
It features an even more meticulous selection of the finest, pure white goose neck down clusters for unmatched softness and a more restful sleep. The cover, made of premium white Swiss batiste cotton, makes it exceptionally breathable and long-lasting.
It’s the perfect blend of luxury and quality. An ideal choice for the most discerning individuals, for those who appreciate the finer things in life—for those who choose Dom Pérignon over anything else, and who know that the right investment always brings the best results.
The D'Oc Light duvet has been designed and made for the mild winters of many Italian regions. It is ideal for well-heated bedrooms, well-insulated spaces, and homes or apartments with an average energy efficiency rating.
Unlike typical mid-season duvets, thanks to the goose neck down clusters, the D'Oc Light duvet is:
- Exceptionally lightweight, so it doesn’t weigh you down during the night
- Breathable, to care for your well-being
- Thermoregulating, creating an ideal microclimate that prevents sweating
- A 100% natural and eco-friendly duvet, ensuring both your comfort and environmental care
Whether in a double or three-quarter size, the D'Oc Light is the perfect lightweight goose down duvet for those who:
- Want a duvet suitable for multiple months of the year, from the first chilly autumn nights to the cool spring evenings
- Tend to feel warm and want a balanced winter duvet that offers consistent, pleasant warmth without being too heavy
- Love luxury and the finer things in life
- Live in a well-insulated home that isn’t particularly cold
- Want a duvet that can last up to 30 years, avoiding the need to replace bedding after just a few years—or even months
Filling Power
- Filling power 22 Scale EN 12130 / A is the European measurement standard for 30g thermal efficiency. The possible values vary from 4cm to 26cm of the Eiderdown. Beyond 22cm you risk running into live pluck, an unethical and illegal practice in DK.
- 157 g / m2 pure goose EN12934 Filling height 22 cm and mass volume 890 in3 / 30g EN12130 / A – EN13186.
- TOG 10,5 This is a measurement system of Anglo-Saxon countries and refers exclusively to the degree of heat. For example, a duvet with 20kg of chicken feathers has the same TOG of 550g of fine duvet.
The D'OC light Filling
The filling consists solely of soft, elastic, full-bodied new white goose down clusters, which due to an additional selection of the goose down clusters have an extremely high thermal insulation capacity and breathability.
The geese are raised in open spaces and in the cold climates of northern Europe, which develop the natural properties of hygroscopicity, isolation, lightness, and volume, necessary to guarantee a high degree of body transpiration and comfortable rest, thus allowing us to create an anti-mite and hypoallergenic duvet.
Our eco-friendly choice has always been to use only the best new raw materials and based on ethics because the duvets are made in Denmark through certified production practices that respect both the environment and animal welfare , categorically opposing any form of live pluck.

The Shell Fabric
The shell fabric is made from 100% silky Swiss batiste which helps the filling to create insulating air chambers, and the fabric's extraordinary air permeability allows for healthy and natural transpiration.
The particularly tightly woven down-proof fabric prevents the down clusters from escaping, while at the same time it does not allow dust and mites to penetrate inside.
The Swiss batiste is silky to the touch, washable with water, and is durable for decades

Structure
The structure, patented by Piumini Danesi ® pooq dene ®, is characterized by a configuration with vertical tubular channels, with internal baffles. This particular conformation allows us to perfectly calculate the quantity of content, so that the down clusters, trapping air to inflate, can move freely, without however accumulating at the ends.
The result is a duvet of extreme quality, capable of maintaining uniformity of the content, promoting insulation, and ensuring a constant and homogeneous warmth and better coverage of the body.
Since the channel structure follows the natural line of the body, the down is minimally compressed, thus achieving greater durability and longevity.
The channel structure allows you to intervene in the content, thus allowing you to increase or decrease the quantity of duvet inside, in case your needs change over the years, which is not possible with square duvets.

Why We Don't Use Recycled Down
The sterilization process required for recycled down—and for the machines used to process it—has a significant environmental impact, far greater than that of new down. Additionally, due to the intensive processing, recycled feathers begin to resemble synthetic fibers and lose many of the valuable natural properties that make down ideal for restful sleep. Our company has chosen not to use recycled down. This decision reflects our commitment to quality, durability, and environmental sustainability.

If your needs change
You don’t need to worry if you move to a new home, feel too cold or too warm, or if your temperature sensitivity changes. The channel-based structure allows you to adjust the filling—either increasing or decreasing the amount of down inside—something that isn’t possible with box-stitched goose down duvets or synthetic comforters.
