The Class Light Duvet
A duvet designed for climate change. The filling of white goose neck down clusters and the 100% down-proof, dust mite-resistant cotton cover make it a hypoallergenic, eco-friendly, and cruelty-free choice.
The keyword for this duvet is balance.
That’s because the Class Light duvet contains just the right amount of goose down clusters to provide an even enveloping warmth without being too heavy. Thanks to its thermal insulation and high breathability, it allows you to sleep in a pleasant and restful warmth for most of the year.
We created it in response to climate change and to suit smaller, well-heated spaces, such as homes and apartments with high energy efficiency whether you sleep with a king size, a double size duvet, or a single size duvet.
Unlike traditional winter duvets, thanks to the goose down clusters, the Class Light is:
- Exceptionally lightweight, so it won’t weigh you down during the night
- Thermoregulating, to create an ideal microclimate that prevents feeling too hot during the night.
- A 100% natural and eco-friendly duvet, ensuring both your comfort and the well-being of the environment
As a double or three-quarter duvet, the Class Light is the perfect winter duvet for those who:
- Want a duvet they can keep on the bed almost all year round from the first chill to the early signs of warmth without constantly changing blankets
- Are unsure which duvet to choose or what level of warmth they need
- Live in a modern, well-insulated home that doesn’t get too cold in winter
- Are neither particularly sensitive to cold nor prone to overheating
- Want a duvet that can last up to 30 years, avoiding the need to replace it after just a few years—or even months
Warranty: 10 year warranty on weight loss and opening of the original seams.
Filling Power
- Filling power 20 The EN 12130 / A scale is the European measurement standard for the thermal efficiency of 30 g. The possible values vary from 4cm to 26cm of the Eiderdown. Beyond 22 cm you risk live pluck, an unethical and illegal practice in Denmark.
- 178 g / m2 pure goose EN12934 Filling height 20 cm and bulk volume 800 in3 / 30 g EN12130 / A – EN13186.
- TOG 10,0 It is a measurement system of the Anglo-Saxon countries and refers exclusively to the degree of heat. For example, a down jacket with 20 kg of chicken feathers has the same TOG of 550 g of fine down.

Carefully selected filling
The filling consists solely of soft, elastic, full-bodied new white goose down.
The geese are raised in open spaces and in the cold climates of northern Europe, which develop the natural properties of hygroscopicity, isolation, lightness and volume, necessary to ensure healthy body transpiration and a comfortable rest.
The composition of this filling enclosed in 100% natural down proof cotton cambric forms a hypoallergenic anti-mite and anti-rheumatic duvet.
Our eco-friendly choices have always been those of using only the best new raw materials and are based on ethics; Piumini Danesi 's duvets made in Denmark are following certified production systems that respect both environmental protection and animal welfare and is firmly against any form of live pluck.

The Shell Fabric
The shell fabric is made from 100% smooth down proof cambric cotton, which helps the filling to create insulating air chambers, and the fabric's extraordinary air permeability allows for healthy and natural transpiration.
The particularly tightly woven fabric prevents the filling from escaping, while at the same time it does not allow dust and mites to penetrate inside, making it suitable for those prone to dust allergies.
The cambric fabric is soft to the touch, does not make noise and is durable for decades

Patented structure
The structure, patented by Piumini Danesi ® pooq dene ® , is characterized by a configuration of vertical tubular channels, with internal baffles, necessary to maintain a homogeneous insulation, which keeps the body temperature steady (without ups and downs)
Since the down is minimally compressed, greater durability and longevity is also achieved.

Why we say NO Recycled Down
The sterilization process required for recycled down and for the machines used to process it—has a significant environmental impact, far greater than that of new down. Additionally, due to the intensive processing, recycled feathers begin to resemble synthetic fibers and lose many of the valuable natural properties that make down ideal for restful sleep. Our company has chosen not to use recycled down. This decision reflects our commitment to quality, durability, and environmental sustainability.

If your needs change
You don’t need to worry if you move to a new home, feel too cold or too warm, or if your temperature sensitivity changes. The channel-based structure allows you to adjust the filling either increasing or decreasing the amount of down inside, something that isn’t possible with box-stitched goose down duvets or synthetic comforters.
