Silk has always been prized; it has even been used as currency. Greek and Roman nobles valued silk so highly that they reserved it for themselves.
This silk is from the oldest producer of natural silk in Germany - with  over ninety years of  experience of transforming  silk  into silk yarns  for weaving.

  • Reversible damask duvet cover.
  • 100% pure silk.
  • HANDCRAFTED IN ITALY.
  • Super King size duvet covers come with 2 pillow cases.

In the WARP PRODUCTION
40,000 filaments of coils are  processed into the delicate and strong fabric which is  checked electronically for errors. The weaving  is done on
an  air-jet  on modern jacquard – loom with  up to  40,000 warp  strikes and  when finished the centenary old  knowledge of  superb finishing  is applied. The earliest surviving example of silk fabric dates from about 3630 BC.
